External To Internal Regulator Conversion Harness (“SI” Series)

Note: For Use With 1972-84 Non-Serpentine Belt (“SI” Series) Internal Regulated Alternators.

Our most popular Alternator Conversion Kit. This kit makes it easy to convert from an External Regulated Alternator to an SI Type Internal Regulated Alternator. Kit includes both adapters and an instruction sheet.
Easy to install:
1) Disconnect the external voltage regulator leads and plug our Special Regulator Adapter into the voltage regulator lead wires. 2) Disconnect the alternator lead wires. 3) Install new SI Type Internal Regulated alternator. 4) Plug one end of our Alternator Adapter into the original alternator lead wires and the other into the alternator.
